Wireless Energy Transfer
The wireless Energy Transfer or Electromagnetic Energy Transfer works on the electromagnetic induction. It is done without help of physical wire and only directly wireless. Some Examples of this are Smartphones and some batteries. This can charge itself without connecting any physical wire to it and by keeping that device on some or the other surface and it charges automatically. This transformation of energy is done only on plastic or glass surface. On metal surface it is not possible because metals have free electrons for flowing in the circuit and plastics and glasses don't have free electrons to transfer and the can't get short circuit while flowing the wireless current and in meals it can cause short circuit and harm the whole device. This is also used to interchange some data from one device to another device.
The working of that device is like the working of electric motor. When we pass electricity from copper wire then it produce magnetic field and that magnetic field carries electric current with itself. The wireless charger works like this only. Inside wireless charger, there is wounded solenoid coil of copper metal and when the electric current is passed through it then the magnetic field is produced and with that magnetic field it carries current and that current is invisible to us and it flows from one place to another place. The device which is being charge by the wireless charger also has the wounded solenoid coil of copper metal and the energy from the first coil is transferred to the second solenoid coil and then the other device is charged.
The magnetic field of the wires are low so we have to keep the device which have to charge in contact with its charger and on between 1 to 1.5 CM for transmission. but now this technique is improving and now the range of that field is increasing. The technique is being used in the smartphone devices, electric toothbrush, home appliances, etc. Now the researchers are implementing this technique in electric cars. They are making charging stations for electric cars and are implementing a receiver in Electric cars by which when the electric cars are get nearer to that station or place made for keeping that car and after that the car will get to charge wireless. By using this the electric cars will more in use and the users will easily charge their cars.
