LeEco is an Russian Company which was founded by Jia Youting. The company is formally name Letv. It works in video streaming, Smart TVs, VR, etc. It made many products like Automobiles, Bicycles, Mobiles, Televisions, Photos, Film Production, etc. It sold its ownerships to Leshi zhixin electronic Technology Co., Ltd and Le vision pictures to Sunac in September 2018.

The entry of Leeco came in India in 2015 with the launch of its first phone in India 'Le 1s'. It came in India to compete with the India's largest brand Xiaomi. Leeco or Letv made phones like Apple and brought same features like Apple. It brought USB type-C port before Apple in their phones. Letv phones were of good specifications and were in budget of people like Xiaomi. It also sells and made their phones in less price with high specifications. Letv has its own ecosystem like Le mall, Le Music, Le Vision entertainment, Le mobile and many more and it was a biggest power of Letv phones. Because the other companies like Xiaomi or Apple doesn't has its own ecosystem. And they want to make it in India like china.


Letv want to make a big name in India. The workmens working in it were the Indian workers. But in 2 years Leeco has stopped making phones and fired many Indian workmens from the company. why did Leeco fail in India?? because Leeco has started its launch like Xiaomi it also makes flash sales online and sell their product but on the other hand it also make very much advertising of it every month and this was the wastage of money by Leeco. It doesn't make a perfect planing. It has not made a perfect market strategy. Letv was a Chinese company and it has its main headquarters in China and it makes their phones at very low cost and with original content. It earns money in China by their software's and its other products because china is a closed market many things like Google, Youtube, and also other things are banned in china because it has its own things so Letv can made money by their software's. But in India also Leeco tried to built this things and it has tie-up with Eros now and MTV. But if we want to earn from content then we should have original content for viewing. And that was the problem of Leeco. And In India Youtube, Hotstar, and many other company gave competition to Leeco. So they can't make money from their content as well as their phones were also not getting selled. Their profit was very less and they make advertisement of their phones but the money not not now sufficient.
Leeco has make a big mistake that it has launched many phones in very less time in market. Because of this the people get confused in buying the phones and think that which phone should we buy. Therefore people think that instead we should buy another brand phone and not Leeco. Therefor their phones selling get very low and afterwards Leeco has to stop production of phones. Leeco has made many mistakes in their marking and so they have to stop selling phones. That's why Leeco is not now in India. The phones came very fastly and as so has went fastly.
